What is scoliosis?
Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person's spine is curved from side to side.
The idiopathic form of scoliosis (idiopathic means that nobody knows the cause for sure)
appears in teenagers, especially girls and stays with them for life.
Diagnosis of Scoliosis
Scoliosis is routinely diagnosed by requesting the
person to perform the Adams test (see pictures below). The Adams test is
performed by requesting the person to "bend forward and round the back".

asymmetric portion of the back and a reading taken from where a
drop of liquid sits at the bottom of the curved tube in the scoliometer.

The deep squat provides a quick and easy strategy for rebalancing the body and is
likely to minimize the risk of onset of idiopathic scoliosis - but it must be done on a regular basis.
